StoreScope Analytics

Connect Microsoft Partner Center

Acquisitions, ratings and reviews for your Microsoft Store apps.

What it unlocks in StoreScope Analytics

  • Acquisitions, ratings and reviews for your Microsoft Store apps, and replying to reviews.

The access it needs

ForLeast role or permission
Analytics, reviews, listings and submissionsManager (the role of the Entra app in Partner Center)
  • Register the app in Microsoft Entra (App registrations, New registration), then add it in Partner Center: Account settings, User management, Microsoft Entra applications.
  • The client secret is the secret's Value (Certificates and secrets), not its Secret ID. Entra shows it once.
  • A client secret expires on the date chosen when it was made. Add a new one before then and connect again.

Steps

  1. Partner Center, Account settings, User management, Microsoft Entra applications: add an app with the Manager role. Open user management
  2. Copy its tenant ID and client ID, then add a new key (client secret) and copy it.
  3. Optional: your Seller ID, under Account settings, Legal info.
  4. In StoreScope Analytics, open Connections, choose Microsoft Partner Center, fill in the form and save. The connection is checked live with the store first; a connection that fails the check is never saved.
